Natalie Tarantino joined SCPDA in 1995 and has spent her entire career here in public defense. That has included time in district court, a juvenile court rotation, supervising, training and mentoring younger lawyers but mostly defending persons accused of felony crimes.
Natalie earned her B.A. at Miami University in Oxford, OH and her J.D. at DePaul University College of Law. She is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a Board member of Cocoon House, a Snohomish County organization focused on homeless youth.
“I became a public defender because I wanted to be in court, arguing and trying cases. I have stayed a public defender because I strongly believe that all people regardless of resources or income deserve quality counsel.”
