Ian Saling earned his B.A. from the University of Washington in 2009 and his J.D. from Seattle University in 2017. Ian worked as a paralegal and Rule 9 Legal Intern at private practice criminal defense firms the Law Offices of Gordon & Saunders and the Law Office of Amy Muth for nearly 10 years before joining SCPDA in 2019. While in law school he worked as an editor at Seattle University’s Journal of Environmental Law.
