Blake Wessinger joined SCPDA in September 2021. Blake earned his B.A. at George Washington University and his J.D. at the Georgetown University Law Center.
During law school, Blake worked on release petitions for federal prisoners as part of his work with Georgetown’s Criminal Defense and Prisoner Advocacy Clinic. He had previously worked as a law clerk with the Virginia Indigent Defense Commission at the Loudoun County office and with the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia in the Community Defender Division. Blake is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina.
