CELEBRATING 20 YEARS AT SCPDA

Today we celebrate Kathleen Kyle, our Executive Director, on her 20th anniversary at SCPDA! Kathleen (known around the office as “KK”) has served in many roles during her 20 years with SCPDA. She began as a trial lawyer in Cascade District Court in 1998. She moved on to superior court and then to juvenile court, where she was on the forefront of litigating on behalf of our youthful clients.

In 2008, she became one of the youngest assistant directors in our organization’s history. She has served in her role as director since 2015. She is one of only a handful of female directors leading public defender organizations across our state. Her breadth of experience and deep history with SCPDA is what makes Kathleen an impactful director, mentor, and supervisor. Thank you for fighting the good fight, KK
