Mission: The Snohomish County Public Defender Association (SCPDA) Anti-Racism Committee (ARC) lives to ensure equal access to careers at SCPDA, provide career support for employees, and integrate anti-racism into all aspects of public defense work.
Purpose: The ARC’s purpose is to build and sustain a diverse workplace, inclusive environment, and equitable organization. The ARC will achieve this by advising leadership and employees to implement anti-racism and intersectionality within all aspects of SCPDA structures, from recruiting and hiring to continued training, employee relations, and client representation and advocacy.
