I joined SCPDA in 2019. I earned my B.A. in Political Science with a specialization in Political Theory at the University of British Columbia and I earned my J.D. at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law as well as my Executive Masters in Public Administration at the University of Washington. During law school, I worked as an intern for the San Diego Public Defender’s Office and as an intern with a private law firm specializing in parole hearings.
I became a public defender because I want to fight on behalf of indigent and marginalized clients. It is my duty to provide zealous advocacy for those individuals and provide a voice for those facing systematic oppression from the State.”
